New Art Incoming!

Hey! I haven't posted any new art here in forever, and the truth is that besides sketches (would any of you actually like to see that?) I haven't really made any new art!
As some of you may know, what has tired me out so bad is AP Art. I took my school's AP class, in which I had to create 24 magnum opuses in a semester, which is pretty crazy. 12 of them absolutely had to be made that semester, circled all around one theme. If you don't think that's daunting, then you've never done it. After about the 8th piece, things start going downhill. Anyway, my point is, in a few day my scores will be released! And then I think it'll be safe to start posting up my favorites.

So expect some new (goodish) art after about another week!

So, in terms of some other life goodness and goings-on, I've finally graduated from high school. I've gotten a minimum wage job (it feels great to be working for my income), and I'll be going to college in the fall in order to *hopefully* become an art teacher (or some other sort of teacher. Not sure yet).
Perhaps the most exciting news to me though is that I've finally gotten my BJD! If any of you remember, for a while I was begging for commissions to get the money to buy my doll, but now I've finally gotten her. The doll hasn't arrived in the mail yet but hopefully will sometime late this month, or early August.

So this has been another catch-up journal. I've still been pretty idle on the dA community, but expect more activity from me in the future!
